Inferno 608
For the first time, the historic 608 bus veers off its regular route.
Spectator-passengers experience a live performance in motion, transforming the city bus into an ark of the damned; souls still striving to narrate their torment of waiting, of routine repetition, in places where even sunlight never reaches.
A secret new route takes us through the nine circles of Dante’s Hell.
The bus arrives, the audience boards, and the journey begins.
Nine Circles.
Nine Stops.
As the route deepens and the bus disappears, beasts and tormented souls become fellow passengers.
How — and by what means — is the greatest inhuman creation of the human mind, sin, ever repaid?
Perhaps there truly is a Hell out there.
Perhaps we are already living in it every day.
A moving performance in the Athenian underworld.
